Internal Auditor
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning and conducting risk-based internal audits across all operational, financial, administrative, compliance, and IT-related activities
- Evaluating internal controls, policies, procedures, risk management and regulatory compliance
- Identifying weaknesses, irregularities, fraud risks and process inefficiencies;
- Recommending corrective actions
- Monitoring implementation of audit recommendations and reporting key findings to management to strengthen governance, controls, operational efficiency and organizational performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a reputed audit firm.
- Completion of the Corporate Level of CA Sri Lanka (CASL) or an equivalent/higher qualification.
- A relevant degree from a recognized university will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to branches located outside Kurunegala as required.
