Job profile

ISB's Technical and Environmental Service Division is seeking a dynamic and motivated Laboratory Trainee to join our multidisciplinary team. The selected candidate will support laboratory operations that serve the analysis of food and water.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Laboratory Technology/ Food Science or similar qualifications.
• School leavers with 3 passes at A/L, including Chemistry and Biology, are also encouraged to apply.

Main functions shall be

• Assist the laboratory staff with the analysis of food and water.
• Assist the laboratory staff with laboratory documentation and maintaining ISO 17025 laboratory accreditation.
• Collect samples from different industries.

General Requirements

• Age below 28 years.
• Competency in English and Sinhala languages.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Possession of a valid riding license is a must.
