Assistant Manager – Engineering (Animal Feed Mill Operations) - Nattandiya
Noorani Estates (Pvt) Ltd is one of Sri Lanka's leading integrated poultry producers, operating breeder farms, commercial layer farms, hatcheries, a state-of-the-art feed mill, estates, and a paper pulp manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Reliability: Direct daily repairs, preventive maintenance routines, and equipment uptime goals (OEE).
- Project Management: Plan and execute capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, equipment upgrades, and facility expansions.
- Budgeting: Prepare and control departmental, repair, and project budgets.
- Compliance: Ensure machinery and processes meet OHSAS and environmental safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise internal maintenance staff and coordinate outside contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering/NDT or equivalent in engineering and maintenance
- 5 to 10 years in plant engineering, manufacturing, or feed/grain processing
- Deep knowledge of pneumatics, conveyors, hammer mills, pellet mills, boilers, and automation controls
- Strong problem-solving, project scheduling, and cross-functional communication abilities
- Exposure to LEAN/TPM/5S environment will be an added advantage.
