Senior Executive – Warehouse & Logistic Operations
Location: Lunuwila, Wennappuwa
Employment Type: Full Time
We are a reputed PU manufacturing and distribution company in Sri Lanka, headquartered in Lunuwila, Wennappuwa. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Executive – Warehouse & Logistic Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing end to – end inbound and outbound logistics operations, including receiving, storing, inventory control, loading, dispatch, and delivery.
- Coordinating with external parties and other internal departments to ensure the timely movement of goods.
- Maintaining inventory records and logistics documentation.
- Monitoring inventory accuracy and resolving delivery discrepancies, damages, returns and stock related issues.
- Monitoring logistics performance, service levels, safety standards, and transportation costs.
- Coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitoring transportation and delivery schedules and ensuring timely dispatched delivery of goods.
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and cost – effectiveness.
- Preparing and monitoring operational reports, and other logistics- related performance indicators.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in logistic and warehouse management.
- Age between 35 - 45 yrs.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in logistics and warehouse management or a similar professional qualification, will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP System.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, transportation coordination, dispatch and delivery processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify operational issues and implement practices.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
- Special concern on close proximity to Wennappuwa, Lunuwila.
