SEWING TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
- Identify and rectify mechanical and technical issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure smooth machine operations.
- Set up and adjust sewing machines according to production requirements.
- Ensure machines operate efficiently while maintaining required quality standards.
- Support production teams in resolving sewing machine-related technical issues.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain maintenance records.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
Individual Profile
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a similar position in the apparel industry.
- Good knowledge of industrial sewing machines and their mechanical functions.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot sewing machine faults.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Technical qualifications or vocational training in sewing machine maintenance will be an added advantage.
