Store Supervisor
Location: Thulhiriya
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM (Mon to Sun)
Our client in the textile industry is looking for a Store Supervisor to oversee daily showroom operations, lead the store team, deliver excellent customer service, and support sales and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Sales Assistants, Cashiers and showroom staff.
- Manage daily opening, closing and overall store operations.
- Monitor sales performance and support achievement of targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain product displays, pricing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy and stock counts.
- Ensure proper POS, cash handling, discounts and payment procedures.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline and performance.
- Implement promotions, company policies and loss-prevention measures.
Requirements
- 2+ Years of previous retail or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication and customer-service skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer/POS knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good command of Sinhala and English; Tamil is an advantage
