ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - FACTORY
LANWA Sanstha Cement Corporation (Private) Limited is a BOI venture and a fully owned subsidiary company of Ceylon Steel Corporation Limited. Our State-of-the-art manufacturing facility is located at Export Processing Zone, Mirijjawila, Hambantota. The company is looking for team spirited, result oriented individuals with passion and dynamism for the following vacancy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile inventory records and ensure appropriate valuation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure the Inventory accuracy (RM/ FG/ Consumables/ spare parts and general materials).
- Ensuring the timely and accurate recording of manufacturing transactions in ERP.
- Supporting Factory Accountant for completion of Annual Audit.
- Support Budgeting and Controlling process to factory accountant.
- Prepare various analysis reports against Budget with appropriate explanations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls policies and procedures implemented by Management.
- Performing ad-hoc task assigned by factory accountant and head office.
Requirements
- Part Qualification of ICASL/ CIMA or full Qualification of AAT.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 03 years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing environment or recognized audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced MS Excel Proficiency (Complex formulas, Data analysis).
- Having a good understanding of ERP systems, and knowledge of the SAP or other ERP systems is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross department collaboration.
- Male candidate, age under 35 years.
