MATRON (SISTER-IN-CHARGE)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day nursing operations of the hospital.
- Lead, guide and supervise nursing staff and ensure high standards of patient care.
- Plan and coordinate staff rosters, duties and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean and patient-friendly environment.
- Liaise with medical staff, administration and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle patient and staff concerns effectively.
- Support continuous improvement in nursing services and patient care.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma / Degree with SLMC registration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity (Sister-in-Charge / Matron) in a hospital setting.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively.
- Age below 60 years.
