EXECUTIVE – RISK & CONTROL
InQuBe is a global apparel innovation company with capabilities in Design, Technology Incubation and execution at scale. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess operational, financial, compliance, and business risks.
- Assist in maintaining and updating risk registers and risk assessments.
- Monitor identified risks and follow up on mitigation plans.
- Identify emerging risks and escalate significant risks to management.
- Support the implementation of the organization's risk management framework.
- Review business processes to identify control gaps and weaknesses.
- Conduct periodic control checks and testing.
- Monitor compliance with established controls, policies, and procedures.
- Document control deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.
- Identify and report policy or process deviations.
- Support governance and compliance-related reviews.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for risk and control activities.
- Coordinate with Internal Audit, External Audit, and relevant assurance functions when required.
- Provide supporting information and documentation for audits.
- Monitor audit findings and follow up with responsible departments.
- Track corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Review key operational processes and identify potential areas of risk or loss.
- Assist in developing and reviewing SOPs, policies, and control guidelines.
- Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate risk and control monitoring processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Internal Audit, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA / Internal Audit / Risk Management will be an added advantage.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in the apparel/manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
