SENIOR EXECUTIVE - FINANCE (FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING & TAX)
BASED AT RANALA
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting activities and month-end/year-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and relevant schedules.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax computations, returns, and statutory submissions.
- Monitor tax compliance and support tax audits and assessments.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and strengthen controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and taxation.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting and tax regulations.
- Experience in ERP/SAP systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
