Independent Television Network Ltd., (ITN) is a premier media network in Sri Lanka which operates two TV channels (ITN and Vasantham TV) and two radio channels (Lakhanda and Vasantham FM) serving Sinhala and Tamil speaking communities along with the channel ITN Digital for social media activities.

ITN also operate MMC ITN Campus which is dedicated to Excellence in Digital Education. ITN Max the network’s OTT platform is the latest addition to ITN Media portfolio, redefining digital entertainment for modern audiences.

Applications are invited for the following post of ITN from citizens of Sri Lanka possessing the following qualifications and experience.

CONTENT CREATOR - CONTRACT

Job Description

Responsible for researching, developing, producing, and managing engaging content for television and digital platforms, including news, current affairs, programmes, live events and promotional campaigns, while ensuring compliance with editorial policies, broadcasting regulations and ethical standards.

The role involves content writing and scripting, creative content development, trend and audience analysis, SEO optimisation, social media backend management and implementation of overall content creation strategies in coordination with the Programme and Marketing Divisions to maximise audience reach, engagement and overall content performance.

Educational Qualifications

• Passed 03 subjects at GCE A/L Examination other than the General Paper
• Diploma in Digital Media, Digital Marketing and Communication and any other subject areas relevant to the post
• Practical application knowledge of Digital Platform Administration and backend management.
• Knowledge on A B Testing, digital content creation, content management, digital analytics and content delivery.

Note 01: Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo a practical test on content creation and backend management. Candidates who successfully complete the practical test will be shortlisted for the subsequent interview.

Age : Age should be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years.

Contract Allowance : All-inclusive Contract Allowance Rs. 65,000/- per month + commission. Candidates selected for the post will be recruited on a contract basis for a period of one (01) year and contract agreement is renewable on yearly basis based on performance.

FRINGE BENEFITS

• 24 hrs. Insurance coverage for accidents.
• Provident Fund contributions 10% by employee and 15% by employer.
• 3% contribution to the ETF by employer.
