ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
We Medicon Health Care (Pvt) Ltd was established in 2011 and represents world renowned Medical Diagnosis products and best brands in past 15 years, trusted by health care professionals and leading health care institutions island wide.
We are currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates to join our team. The position is located in Battaramulla. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Entering all bank related transactions and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Entering of customer deposits against invoices and cheque payments.
- Entering and checking petty cash related transactions and reports.
- Preparation of Import Costing.
- Entering and completion of monthly management accounts in given deadlines.
- Preparation of all the required calculations and schedules for audit purposes.
- Calculation and reconciliation of all control accounts, payable accounts, supplier accounts, debtors accounts and entering of all the final accrual entries to complete the audited accounts.
- Check and finalizing of audited accounts in given deadlines.
- Prepare tax computations in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional qualification in Finance & Accounting.
- Should have passed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in Commerce Subjects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Accounting / Audit sector.
- Computer skills with MS Office packages (letter writing skills), Internet & Email.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD BE
- Able to work under any accounting package and learn customized accounting packages quickly.
- Strictly adhered to given deadlines.
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, be punctual, work under minimal supervision, possess analytical skills and be a smart worker.
- A female candidate aged between 25-35 years.
- Good communication in English and Sinhala.
- A positive thinker.
