EYE SURGEON

HelpAge Sri Lanka (HASL) is a leading non-governmental charitable organization working towards improving the quality of life of senior citizens in Sri Lanka and has the following vacancy in our Eye Hospital at Wellawatte to be filled shortly.

We are seeking a competent individual to function as the Eye Surgeon at the HASL Eye Hospital.

Candidate should ideally possess the following profile:

• Needs to have postgraduate qualifications in Ophthalmology
• a minimum of 05 years’ hands-on experience in performing Cataract Surgeries
• Ability to work independently
• A Visiting Eye Surgeon to perform Cataract Surgeries preferably 4 days a week during the morning session
• Compassionate, patient and empathetic approach towards elders
• Retired eye surgeons are encouraged to apply

A negotiable remuneration in consonance with Charitable Organization norms will be on offer alongside a pleasant working environment.
