About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our travel agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting within the travel industry, with hands-on experience managing itinerary costing and working closely with suppliers to ensure accurate, competitive pricing across our travel packages. This role requires someone who can work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities, while also collaborating effectively as part of a broader finance and operations team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar costing/finance role within a travel agency, tour operator, or related travel industry business
- Solid understanding of itinerary costing, supplier rate structures, and travel product pricing
- Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting or travel booking software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
