Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This position is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates who are looking to develop their knowledge and practical experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, measurements, and BOQs
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and quotations
- Support the preparation of interim payment applications and valuations
- Assist with tender documentation and tender evaluations
- Maintain project cost, material, and quantity records
- Assist in monitoring project costs and variations
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding quantities and costs
- Assist the Quantity Surveyor with day-to-day commercial and site-related activities
- Prepare and maintain relevant QS documents and reports
Requirements
- Diploma / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field
- Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and develop professional skills
- Ability to work at construction project sites
