Our group of companies offers a wide range of products, including steel roofing, MDF boards, steel & aluminium builders’ hardware, and various other construction-related items.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT – CREDIT CONTROL

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Assistant Accountant to strengthen our Credit Control function at our Head Office.

Key Requirements:

• Part-qualified or professionally qualified in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Preferably below 40 years of age.
• Strong experience in debtor’s management, credit control and recovery of outstanding balances.
• Ability to effectively manage customer accounts and take appropriate action to ensure timely recovery of dues, including coordinating legal action where necessary.
• Good knowledge of internal controls, accounting procedures and proper financial systems.
• Competent in computerized accounting systems and accounting software.
• Good analytical, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and deal confidently with customers and other stakeholders.
