MACHINE OPERATOR

Your Role
- Operate assigned tea processing machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Continuously monitor the condition of the machine such as speed, temperature, airflow, and moisture levels based on production.
- Maintain daily log sheets regarding machine performance, downtime, and material usage.
- Clean and sanitize machines and work areas daily as per food safety protocols.
- Perform basic routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues during operation.
- Conduct pre-shift safety checks on machine guards, emergency stops, and switches.
Your Profile
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- While prior experience is not mandatory, 1–2 years of experience working with specific tea processing machinery would be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required by operational needs.
- Ability to Basic literacy and numerical skills to accurately record daily operational log sheets, downtime, and material usage.
