Intern - Finance
Ceyconnect (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ceyline Group, is a leading Sri Lankan logistics and multimodal transportation provider driving sustainable, clean-energy supply chain solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate or recent graduate pursuing a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or equivalent (AAT / CIMA / ACCA / CA part-qualified).
- Sound understanding of double-entry accounting principles and basic general ledger posting.
- High proficiency in MS Excel and strong comfort with numeric data entry.
- Keen attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute end-to-end payment processing for vendors, logistics operations, and freight services after verifying supporting documents.
- Record routine Journal Entries (JEs) into accounting software for daily transactions, revenue, costs, and accruals.
- Input and maintain precise financial data within the Ceyconnect Management Information System (MIS) to support internal reporting.
- Perform routine bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support senior finance staff with month-end close activities, ledger balancing, and audit file preparation.
