ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Finance Business Partner - Sales and Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making within the Sales and Marketing function. Working closely with the Sales and Marketing and Finance teams, you will provide analytical support, evaluate marketing investments, and ensure that financial objectives are aligned with brand and business goals. This role demands strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies that enhance performance and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct variance analysis and present recommendations to optimize spend efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business and brand strategies.
- Support decision-making by preparing business cases, investment appraisals, and financial models for marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and reporting standards.
- Provide monthly reports and dashboards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and strategic plans in coordination with both Sales and Marketing and Finance leadership.
- Act as a financial advisor to the Sales & Marketing function, ensuring clarity, accountability, and informed decision-making across all initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA considered an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in finance, management accounting, or business partnering— preferably within a marketing-driven or FMCG/manufacturing organization.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial information clearly.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with ERP or SAP systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil proficiency will be an added advantage).
