Specialist- Delivery and Transport
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Specialist- Delivery and Transport to oversee logistics and transportation operations for our food processing facility.
The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, timely, and safe delivery of products while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate delivery staff and vehicle operations to ensure smooth logistics.
- Maintain records of deliveries.
- Demand planning and daily updating the system.
- Monitor sales performance and guide field teams to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure that company delivery and sales targets are met on time.
- Conduct regular field visits to oversee operations and address any issues.
- Visit government and private sector offices for approvals and sales promotions.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in delivery, fleet management, or logistics operations (preferably in the food industry).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in logistics software and route planning tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint (PPT) and data analysis charts.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driving license.
