We are looking for a Trainee - Compliance to join our Compliance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is interested in developing a career in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, and corporate governance within the life insurance industry.

Trainee - Compliance Department

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Compliance Department in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal policies
  • Assist in conducting compliance reviews and follow-up activities
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory circulars, directives, and other regulatory requirements and communicating relevant updates to the respective departments
  • Maintain proper records and documentation relating to compliance activities
  • Assist with internal and external compliance-related reviews and audits
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and controls
  • Perform any other compliance-related duties assigned by the management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Part/full qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CA, Banking, Insurance, Risk Management, or Compliance will be an added advantage
  • Strong interest in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and the financial services/insurance industry
  • Good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
