We are looking for a Trainee - Compliance to join our Compliance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is interested in developing a career in compliance, regulatory affairs, risk management, and corporate governance within the life insurance industry.
Trainee - Compliance Department
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Compliance Department in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal policies
- Assist in conducting compliance reviews and follow-up activities
- Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation
- Assist in monitoring regulatory circulars, directives, and other regulatory requirements and communicating relevant updates to the respective departments
- Maintain proper records and documentation relating to compliance activities
- Assist with internal and external compliance-related reviews and audits
- Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies, procedures, and controls
- Perform any other compliance-related duties assigned by the management
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Law, Risk Management, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Part/full qualification in CIMA, ACCA, CA, Banking, Insurance, Risk Management, or Compliance will be an added advantage
- Strong interest in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and the financial services/insurance industry
- Good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
