TITLE INSURANCE ASSISTANT

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Title Insurance Assistant to support the Title Insurance Department in the preparation, processing, and administration of title insurance files. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing quotations and policy documents, coordinating payments, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of title insurance transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain title insurance files and records.
• Enter and update information in company systems and Excel.
• Follow up on title insurance matters and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate with banks regarding title insurance matters.
• Coordinate with other departments on title insurance-related matters.
• Check documents and verify pedigrees for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal Department.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word & Excel.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good English & Sinhala language knowledge.
• Previous experience in title insurance, notarial or legal will be an advantage.

Location: Colombo (Head Office)

A remuneration package commensurate with the applicant’s profile and other fringe benefits will be offered to the right candidate who meets the Qualification, Experience and other assessment factors.
