ASSISTANT MANAGER - DISTRIBUTOR OPERATION
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct financial evaluations of prospective distributors by assessing financial statements, liquidity, profitability, working capital investment capacity.
- Evaluate distributor operational capability, including infrastructure, warehouse facilities, fleet capacity, manpower, geographic location, and overall resource availability to determine distribution readiness.
- Coordinate end to end distributor onboarding process with key stakeholders (Sales/Credit Control/Admin, etc.).
- Recommend the most commercially viable distributor from shortlisted candidates by balancing financial strength, operational capability, market potential, and risk exposure.
- Perform financial and operational due diligence ('Distributor Health Checks') throughout the distributor lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed Distributor Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Working Capital investment, break-even analysis, ROI calculations for financial sustainability assessments.
- Partner closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Legal, and Commercial teams throughout the distributor appointment and transition process.
- Act as the key contact point for distributor related matters.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or in a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in distributor operations, sales operations, or channel management.
- Experience in managing distributor networks and order-to-delivery processes.
- Good Excel and data-analysis skills.
- Experience in preparing operational reports, KPIs, dashboards, and performance analysis.
- Understanding of inventory, forecasting, logistics, invoicing, and distribution processes.
