As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly competent and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the organization’s financial operations, ensuring effective financial management, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial decision-making.
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Location – Colombo
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives and business plans.
- Responsible for cash flow management, budgeting, costing, financial analysis, and improving the organization’s financial performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with top management on strategic and operational matters, providing financial analysis, recommendations, and solutions to support decision-making.
- Review and improve financial processes, internal controls, and best practices while identifying new business opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A Degree in Accounting or Finance with full professional qualification in CA/ACCA or a CA/ACCA finalist.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity; experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong IT skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems; exposure to ERP implementation will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead a team, work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment.
