Post of Building Services Manager
One of the most prominent and pioneering mixed-development buildings in Colombo, comprising office spaces, residential units, and a shopping mall, is seeking an experienced and qualified individual for the position of Building Services Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to, addressing any issues or repairs in a timely manner.
- Supervise the work of subcontractors and in-house maintenance staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor energy usage, and implement measures to enhance energy efficiency and sustainability within the building.
- Conduct regular building inspections to identify potential issues and recommend improvements or upgrades.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Services or Facilities Management.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to maintenance emergencies.
- Prior experience in Condominium Management or Commercial Buildings is preferred.
- Age below 50 years.
- Fluent in English and Sinhala.
