Associate - Global Shared Services
Location: HQ - Colombo, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Canadian brokerage team to ensure all shipment details are accurately updated in the Candata System in a timely manner
- Coordinate with shipping lines, Canada Customs, and freight forwarders to ensure smooth and timely operations
- Track shipments using shipping line and terminal tracking systems to maintain accurate shipment visibility
- Prepare, update, and maintain operational and performance reports
- Perform data validation and data entry to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure service quality and operational efficiency
- Ability to work the following schedule is mandatory: Tuesday- Friday: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM and Saturday: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field
- Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level with a minimum of three passes
- Professional certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field will be an added advantage
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
- Prior experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry will be an added advantage
