ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
HEALTHCARE SECTOR

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
- Part qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and computerized accounting systems.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in billing, finance, or a healthcare environment will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work on shift rosters, including weekends and public holidays if required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the daily cash banking operations of the company are conducted accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain the company petty cash float and ensure timely reimbursement of expenses, adhering to established policies and procedures
- Reconcile the daily cashier's collections with the system to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible for managing the collection process, issuing receipts, and accurately recording relevant financial transactions through journal entries
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of credit invoices, ensuring accessibility and accuracy for auditing purpose
