VACANCY
SENIOR MANAGER - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The selected candidate will manage the overall IT infrastructure and information systems of the organization — developing and implementing strategic initiatives to streamline IT operations and achieve organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the overall IT infrastructure and information systems, ensuring efficient service delivery, policy adherence and business continuity.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline IT operations and achieve organizational objectives.
- Manage and oversee all core IT functions.
- Ensure information security, data integrity and system availability.
- Manage IT vendor relationships, budgets and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Lead, develop and manage the IT team, providing direction and guidance.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of technology solutions to support business growth.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar capacity.
- Comprehensive operational conversance across all core IT functions.
- Strong expertise in IT operations, systems management and information security.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Insurance-industry experience is an added advantage.
Prior experience in an equivalent role within the insurance industry — or a strong capability to manage insurance-related information systems — will be an added advantage.
