AI Engineer & Senior AI Engineer

HRC Labs leads the technological transformation of HealthRecon Connect by developing intelligent automation solutions that improve healthcare delivery, reduce administrative burden, and enhance clients’ operating margins and cash flow.

This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions for healthcare applications. The selected candidate will work with Java, Spring Boot, LLMs, RAG, agent AI, and distributed systems to build intelligent and reliable solutions. The role will also focus on AI security, system performance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions aligned with business and healthcare needs.

What You Will Own

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt design, embeddings, vector search, and model APIs.
• Experience with at least one: OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, Spring AI, or LangChain4j.
• Knowledge of AI security, prompt injection prevention, output validation, caching, latency/token optimization, and fallbacks.

What You Will Bring

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Nice to have: AI/ML or Generative AI certifications from cloud or technology providers.
• Demonstrated continuous learning through technical contributions, open-source projects or publications.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an AI Engineer with 3–5+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience and hands-on expertise in LLMs, RAG, and agent AI. The ideal candidate has strong distributed systems and system design skills, with a focus on building secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient production AI solutions.
