Fairway Leisure, a key vertical of Fairway Holdings, is a growing hospitality and leisure organization focused on delivering exceptional experiences through quality accommodation, recreation, and leisure services.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our leadership team and support the organization's continued growth. The role will oversee financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow and internal controls while providing strategic financial insights to improve performance, profitability and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planning.
- Ensure timely completion of management accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and other financial processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and cost management.
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
- Support senior management with financial analysis and strategic business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- CMA / CIMA / ACCA / CA qualification, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably including experience in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and financial controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in the leisure, hospitality, tourism, or related industries will be an added advantage.
