We are looking for a LECTURER - ROBOTICS

Join our academic team and inspire the next generation of robotics and automation professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and hands-on practical sessions in Robotics and related areas.
  • Teach and support modules including:
    • Introduction to Robotics
    • Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems
    • Arduino and Raspberry Pi
    • Sensors and Actuators
    • Control Systems
    • Artificial Intelligence for Robotics
    • Robotics Programming using Python and C/C++
    • Automation and related technologies
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory exercises, assessments and other learning resources.
  • Design and deliver practical, project-based learning activities using real-world robotics applications.
  • Supervise student projects and provide academic and technical guidance.
  • Support students in developing their technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, programme improvement, assessments and other academic activities.
  • Stay current with emerging developments in robotics, automation, AI, embedded systems and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on academic and industry-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of robotics systems, automation, embedded systems and programming.
  • Practical experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators and microcontrollers.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Knowledge of control systems and AI applications in robotics will be an advantage.
  • Previous teaching, training, research or industry experience in robotics or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage students through hands-on and project-based learning.
