TECHNICAL IN-CHARGE - PANTS & JACKETS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the daily operations of the Pants & Jackets Sample Section to ensure smooth workflow and timely sample completion.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with quality standards throughout the sample development process.
- Review and verify technical documents, patterns, specifications, and sample packages for accuracy before production.
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, QA, and Production teams regarding sample requirements and technical issues.
- Train, guide, and supervise machine operators and technical staff while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Support departmental planning, resource allocation, and achievement of business objectives.
ADMINISTRATOR & LEADERSHIP
- Lead, guide and motivate the team to achieve targets.
- Manpower planning, allocation and performance management.
- Conduct training and skill development programs.
- Ensure discipline, attendance and adherence to company policies.
- Prepare reports, maintain records and communicate with management.
- Build a positive work culture and maintain strong teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Clothing Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in garment sample development or technical operations, with strong exposure to Pants & Jackets.
- Sound knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fit analysis, sewing techniques, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
