About the Role
- Teach and support EAL students aged 11-16, delivering high-quality, well-planned and personalised lessons
- Provide small-group instruction and collaborate with subject teachers to ensure students access the curriculum effectively
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, using recognised frameworks such as WIDA
- Contribute to professional development for staff and engage with parents to support learning at home
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent EAL qualification and a relevant degree.
- Has at least two years’ experience teaching EAL students in a school setting.
- Understands inclusive teaching strategies and assessment tools for language development.
- Is passionate about helping students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds thrive academically, socially, and personally.
