As a Finance Executive, you will play a key role in managing the company’s day-to-day financial operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or a Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Audit experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare journals, ledgers, reconciliations and monthly reports.
  • Reconcile payment gateway transactions (bank settlements, merchant settlements, internal records).
  • Reconcile card payments, bank transfers, LankaQR, JustPay, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor merchant settlements and ensure timely payouts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, failed transactions, chargebacks, reversals and payment exceptions.
  • Coordinate with partner banks and payment networks.
  • Monitor settlement, trust and operational bank accounts.
  • Generate merchant settlement reports, reconciliation, calculations, and other financial reports.
  • Process refunds, reversals and customer adjustments.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Generate invoices and monitor collections.
  • Maintain merchant records and audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with CBs policies and liaise with auditors, banks, partners and regulators.
  • Handle VAT, SST, Income Tax, PAYE, EPF/ETF and statutory compliance.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports.
  • Identify process improvements and perform other finance duties.
