Head of Finance
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our finance function and drive financial performance, ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of managing finance operations in a professional and results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategy and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and financial models.
- Oversee management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan tax laws, accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support audit actions.
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
- Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional Qualification such as CA, CIMA or ACCA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience with at least 2 years in a senior/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
