As LAUGFS Lubricants continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to become part of our Laboratory & Research & Development Team, contributing to product development, quality assurance, testing, and technical innovation.
MANAGER LABORATORY AND R&D
Key Responsibilities
- Make sure to carry out all operations complying with ISO 17025 & OSHAS standards
- Initiate the new product development as per the requirement of the market
- Develop an effective quality control procedure to ensure products blended as per the formulations meet set Specification
- Perform reviewing of test results/reports, authorize laboratory test reports
- Carry out upgrading and re- engineering of existing product formulas to improve product quality and cost efficiency
- Ensure that the formulation used for products meet the international and local standards, whenever applicable
- Provide after-sales technical service to both industrial and retail markets
- Work with supply chain to identify alternative raw materials for cost effective formulas and higher quality standards
Candidate Qualifications
- Must Possess B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from a reputed university
- Must Possess post graduate qualifications in Analytical Chemistry or relevant qualification
- Min 5 years of experience in chemical laboratory, with 3 years of experience in ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
- Experience in Tribology/petroleum industry will be an added advantage
- MBS qualification will be an added advantage
- Must have strong research and development experience in manufacturing industry
SENIOR EXECUTIVE LABORATORY
Key Responsibilities
- Testing of all finished products, intermediate products and new raw material samples as per the ASTM test methods
- Maintain sufficient stocks of chemicals, consumables and other accessories required for all instruments
- Make sure to carry out all operations complying with ISO 17025 & OSHAS standards
- Develop an effective quality control procedure to ensure products blended as per the formulations meet set Specification
- Perform laboratory testing, reviewing of test results/reports, authorize laboratory test reports
- Carry out upgrades of new product development/introduction to meet emerging requirements
- Carry out upgrades and re-engineering of existing products
- Ensure that the formulation used for products meet the international and local standards, whenever applicable
- Provide after-sales technical service to both industrial and retail markets
- Develop cost-effective formulation without compromising performance & approvals
Candidate Qualifications
- Must Possess B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry from a reputed university
- Min 3 years of experience in chemical laboratory
- Working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory will be a distinct advantage
- Post graduate qualifications in Industrial Analytical Chemistry will be an added advantage
- Experience in Tribology/petroleum industry will be an added advantage
