Join our Team as an Intern - Garment Technologist
Location - Colombo 03, Sri Lanka
Job Role
- Support the technical team across the garment development process from initial sampling to final production delivery
- Learn and assist with understanding Design/Product expectations and how they translate into physical garment form, gaining exposure to:
- Production Feasibility
- Pattern Knowledge
- Fabric behaviors
- Cost Impact
- Safety Requirements
- Testing Criteria
- Customer Standards
- Assist senior Garment Technologists in providing technical solutions to manufacturers
- Support order execution tracking and action plan follow-up
- Build exposure across product categories – Kids to adults/Active to Casual/Woven to Jersey/Non-Wash to Wash/Core line to fashion
Candidate Profile
- Fresh graduate or final-year undergraduate with a relevant Degree or professional qualification (Apparel/Textile/Fashion Technology or related field)
- Genuine interest in building a long-term career in garment technology within the organisation
- Eager to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
- Ability to work well in a team and cope with a fast-paced environment
