Role Overview - The Reservations Agent will manage guest reservations across multiple channels, ensuring accurate bookings and a seamless pre-arrival experience. The role will handle inquiries, amendments, cancellations, and special requests while coordinating with relevant departments to meet guest preferences and support smooth hotel operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handle room reservations via phone, email, and online platforms
- Provide accurate information on availability, rates, and services
- Manage booking changes, cancellations, and special requests efficiently
- Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to meet guest preferences
- Maintain accurate records and update booking systems
- Respond professionally and promptly to guest inquiries
- Ensure smooth reservation processes while supporting operational excellence
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in reservations, front office, or hospitality environment
- Proficient in PMS / hotel systems (Opera, Protel, Micros, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
