Executive- Finance Operation

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual accounts and assist in attending tax matters and liaison with the tax authorities and other statutory bodies.
- Coordination with auditors and facilitation of the annual audit process.
- Assist in evaluating and executing corporate finance activities including project management, project evaluation and funding strategies.
- Assist in coordinating with the respective consultants who are being appointed for various projects and prepare project updates and conduct presentations to the management team and to the Board of Directors and to the statutory bodies where applicable regularly.
- Preparation of annual budget and support for the preparation of the Corporate and Strategic Plans.
- Reconciliation of related party transactions and settlement of balances.
- Preparation and submission of reports to the Ministries as well as reports for the Audit and Compliance Committee and to the Risk Committee etc.
- Conducting bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and carrying out annual asset verifications.
- Ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Assist for daily cash flow management, funds under Management and assets under Management.
Qualifications / Pre-requisites /Requirements for the position
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Management/ Commerce from a UGC approved University.
- Professional qualification - Following corporate level in CA Sri Lanka/ Management level - CIMA/ Strategic level - ACCA/ CMA.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Finance field.
- Age preferably below 35 years.
