Overview of the role:
The Cashier – Yamaha Operations Division is responsible for managing and processing customer payments accurately and efficiently while ensuring a high standard of customer service. The role focuses on handling cash and non-cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling daily collections, and supporting showroom and operational activities. The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with company financial procedures, safeguarding company funds, and contributing to a positive customer experience through professional and timely service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Issue receipts, invoices, and maintain proper transaction records.
- Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare cash reports.
- Assist customers with payment-related inquiries in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of cash and financial information.
- Support showroom and operational activities as required.
What equips you for the role:
- G.C.E. A/L qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a cashiering, customer service, or finance-related role will be an added advantage.
- Good numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity.
