We are now seeking a self-motivated and experienced Engineering Assistant to join the dynamic team of professionals at our Horana facility.
JOB PROFILE:
- Assist the Engineering/Maintenance team in carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Support the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment and utility systems.
- Assist in identifying and rectifying mechanical/electrical faults.
- Carry out routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities.
- Assist with installation, modification and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, spare parts and equipment inspections.
- Follow occupational health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Perform any other engineering-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Successfully completed NVQ Level 4 in Electrical / Industrial Maintenance related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- G.C.E. (O/L) passed qualification.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance practices, tools and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under minimum supervision.
