Pharmacy Assistant cum Cashier

Role Brief
Manage cashiering operations, process customer payments, perform daily reconciliations and reporting, support pharmacy operations, and promote non-prescription healthcare and wellness products while delivering excellent customer service.
Competencies
- Completed G.C.E. Advance Level in Biology Stream.
- Having completed or pursuing qualification in Pharmacy, Sales/Marketing or Accountancy would be a distinct advantage.
- Minimum 02-03 years’ experience in handling cashier operations in a pharmacy or other fashion, beauty and lifestyle retail environment.
- Experience in selling cosmeceutical / nutraceutical products and related knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to the SAP environment would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work on a shift basis from Monday to Saturday, within the pharmacy operating hours of 7.00 am. to 6.00 pm.
- Candidates who are interested in working in a pharmacy environment (registered as an assistant pharmacist with SLMC) and wanting to develop their career in this field are also encouraged to apply.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Operating the POS system and ensuring transactions, receipts, and supporting documents are properly maintained.
- Accepting cash and credit card payments from customers and all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Matching online payment receipts with bank statements and reconciliation.
- Preparing and submitting daily cashier transaction and reconciliation reports to the Finance Division.
- Promoting and cross-selling cosmeceutical, nutraceutical, wellness and other non-prescription products.
- Supporting the Pharmacists with pharmacy activities and general customer service.
