Student Counselor
Oxford Chester Uni of Higher Education* is a premier institute committed to delivering academic excellence, student satisfaction, and holistic career guidance. We are looking for a empathetic, articulate, and persuasive *Student Counselor* to guide prospective students on their higher education pathways and help them select the right academic programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Education Counseling: Provide personalized counseling and guidance to prospective students and parents regarding undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programmes offered by the University.
- Lead Management & Conversions: Handle incoming student inquiries (via phone, email, social media, and walk-ins), follow up on prospective leads, and assist students through the admission and enrollment process.
- Information & Guidance: Explain entry requirements, course structures, fee options, and scholarship opportunities (including specialized military and corporate schemes) accurately.
- Student Onboarding: Assist students in completing application forms, verifying supporting documentation, and transitioning smoothly into their chosen programmes.
- Exhibitions & Open Days: Participate in education fairs, school visits, university open days, and promotional events to represent the university and generate student inquiries.
Applicant Qualifications
Diploma or Equivalent Qualification in Counseling, Psychology, Higher Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline from a recognized institute.
Qualifications & Work Experience
A minimum of one year of Student Counselor experience within a recognized academic institute, university, or educational consultancy.
