SOFTWARE ENGINEER / SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and scalable application solutions.
n
WHAT YOU’LL DO
n
n- Develop responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js.
n- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
n- Design and implement Microservices and RESTful APIs.
n- Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
n- Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
n- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS.
n- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
n- Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices.
n- Troubleshoot, test, optimize, and maintain applications.
n- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project teams.
n

QUALIFICATIONS
n
n- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
n- Minimum 4+ years of professional software development experience.
n- Strong hands-on experience in React.js & Next.js, Java & Spring Boot, Microservices & RESTful APIs, Apache Kafka Event-Driven Architecture, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud, Git/GitHub
n- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
n- Experience in unit and integration testing.
n- Good understanding of JWT/OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
n- Knowledge of secure coding principles and OWASP practices.
n- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
n
n
ADDED ADVANTAGE
n
n- Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or University environments.
n- Experience with Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Academic Management Systems, or University ERP solutions.
n- Understanding of academic or education technology platforms.
n
