ASSISTANT MANAGER CONTRACTING

Join our dynamic Destination Management team in Sri Lanka and play a key role in building strong partnerships and delivering exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate competitive hotel rates, offers, value adds, and commercial terms.
• Manage hotel and supplier contracting, including renewals and agreements.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships.
• Analyse and compare rates, pricing, market trends, and competitor activity.
• Identify new supplier and product opportunities to strengthen our portfolio.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial issues effectively.
• Work closely with Sales, Reservations, Product, and Operations teams.
• Maintain accurate contracting information, rates, offers, and agreements.
• Support pricing, profitability, product development, and overall business growth.
• Represent the company professionally when negotiating with key industry partners.

Candidate Profile

• We are looking for a confident and commercially minded professional with:
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, price-comparison, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong relationship-building skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, results-oriented, and commercially focused approach.
• Experience in tourism, hotels, contracting, procurement, or supplier management.
• Good knowledge of the Sri Lankan hotel and tourism industry.
• The confidence and credibility to negotiate with experienced industry professionals.
