RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and detailed rate analyses.
- Prepare competitive tender pricing, commercial qualifications and clarifications.
- Review tender drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Identify tender risks, exclusions, discrepancies and value-engineering opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams for tender submissions.
- Assist in contract management and administration, including variations, claims, contractual correspondence and commercial compliance.
- Support tender negotiations and commercial handover upon project award.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc in Quantity Surveying, preferably from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience, preferably with strong tendering exposure along with practical site experience in construction projects.
- Good knowledge of civil, building and MEP works.
- Sound knowledge of CIDA/FIDIC conditions will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict tender deadlines.
