Vacancy – Marketing & Social Media Officer
Location: Salaka Senkada Group, No. 466, Union Place, Colombo 02
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and results-driven Marketing & Social Media Officer to join our team and strengthen our brand presence. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, content creation, and online brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing company social media platforms
- Creating engaging posts, reels, and digital content
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns
- Developing and maintaining social media content calendars
- Monitoring social media trends, engagement, and competitors
- Responding to customer comments, inquiries, and messages
- Supporting promotions, events, and brand activities
- Tracking campaign performance and preparing reports
- Increasing brand awareness and online engagement
- Collaborating with the team on creative marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in marketing, social media, or content creation will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, and other digital marketing tools
- Basic graphic design, photography, and video-editing skills will be highly valued
- Strong social media and digital communication skills
- Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging content
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Relevant professional qualifications in digital marketing or social media will be an advantage
