ASSISTANT PRODUCTION OFFICER

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented professional to join our operations team as an Assistant Production Officer at our production plant in Kalutara. Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, blending, and transfer of bulk liquid materials as per production schedules.
• Ensure adherence to excise regulations, statutory requirements, and internal Standard Operating Procedures.
• Identify and analyze operational bottlenecks to minimize production losses, reduce material wastage, and improve overall plant productivity.
• Supervise and ensure the proper upkeep, safety, and timely maintenance of core infrastructure.
• Support the management, in regular audits, reviews, and continuous updates of operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science (with Chemistry as a subject) / Diploma in Food Science & Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution.
• Minimum of three (03) years of previous work experience relating to the field, preferably in a food and/or beverage manufacturing organization.
• Experience in warehousing operations and knowledge in blending / liquor formulation, will be an added advantage.
