About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to guide our mobile team and drive the development of high-quality, scalable Android applications.
Key Requirements
- Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development
- Expertise in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, and Material Design principles
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs
- Hands-on experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt/Koin)
- Familiarity with Firebase, Google Play Console, and App Store release management
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring junior and mid-level developers
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of Android developers
- Architect, design, and build scalable, high-performance mobile applications
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend engineers
- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding best practices
- Drive continuous improvement in app quality, performance, and reliability
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development trends
