Skin Care & Cosmetic Technician
We are looking for a dedicated, well-presented and professionally qualified Skin Care & Cosmetic Technician to join our team at the Nawaloka Skin Care & Cosmetic Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform skincare and cosmetic treatments in accordance with established procedures and professional standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and products before and after procedures.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during aesthetic and cosmetic procedures when required.
- Conduct basic skin assessments and provide appropriate skincare guidance under professional supervision.
- Operate skincare and aesthetic equipment according to approved guidelines and training.
- Maintain strict standards of hygiene, infection prevention and equipment safety.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Provide a friendly, professional and comfortable experience to patients.
- Ensure all treatment areas and equipment are properly maintained.
- Carry out other duties related to the Skin Care & Cosmetic Centre as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- G.C.E. A/L or equivalent qualification.
- NVQ level 4/5/6 in beautician, beauty therapy, cosmetology, aesthetics or a related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- Previous experience in a skin care, cosmetic, aesthetic, dermatology or medical centre will be an advantage.
- Training or experience in professional skincare and aesthetic treatments will be an added advantage.
Additional Skills & Attributes
- Knowledge of skincare products and aesthetic equipment will be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality, professional appearance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a professional healthcare team.
- Ability to communicate in Sinhala and English.
- Tamil will be an added advantage.
Special Requirement
- Willingness to work on weekends and during night shifts is required.
